What's on?

Regular Events
Worship
The church is open for worship on Sunday mornings from about 10am, ready for the service starting at 10:30am.  The service normally lasts about one hour.

What are these services like?

Coffee Morning
Each Wednesday light refreshments are served in the downstairs room from 10.00 – 11.30am. This is an opportunity for anyone to drop in for a chat or take a rest from shopping. The prices are deliberately kept low, and there is usually some home-baking for tasting with tea or coffee.

2nd Saturdays
There is a special event on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Usually there is a fund-raising coffee morning in aid of a nominated local charity; sometimes there is an exhibition, flower festival or arts & crafts fair. Watch the notice board for details of the event this month.

United Circle
The United Circle is a friendly, informal monthly meeting for women of all ages.  The programme includes social events, invited speakers, quizes, outings, suppers, and crafts.  Each year there are some open meetings to which men are invited too.  Most meetings take place at St George's, but some are held in people's homes.

P.A.C.E.
Prayer And Community Engagement is a new monthly meeting, open to everyone.  It is an opportunity to share our joys and concerns for things that are happening in and around our communities, through conversations and prayer in our own way and at our own pace.  It runs on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the church coffee room.
